EBC Youth Ministry

Englewood Bible Church has something for everyone, in all age groups; from nursery and elementary school age to teens, tweens and adults. If you are looking for something to fulfill your life and soul, either personally or Spiritually, you can find it at EBC.

Englewood Youth Ministry is one of those rare programs that caters to the Spiritual needs of all teens, between sixth and twelfth grades, in Englewood and the surrounding communities. You do not need to be a member of Englewood Bible Church to be a part of the EYM.

Our Englewood Youth Ministry MISSION STATEMENT says it all:

To help teenagers to develop their Spiritual identity,
and to increase their love for the Lord God and Jesus Christ, through prayer, Bible study and fellowship,
and to encourage them to share the same with their families, friends and communities.

You will notice that the three most important elements of this ministry, or any ministry, are prayer, Bible study and fellowship.

Prayer: To be able to communicate to God what’s on our heart.

Bible Study: Through the reading of God’s Word, being able to understand how it applies to us today.

Fellowship: Sharing with each other, and put into practice with each other, what being a Christian is all about
There are three ways that we implement our mission:

1) Every Wednesday, from the 1st Wednesday in September through the last Wednesday in May, we have our Youth Ministry gathering. We meet in the 3rd floor Youth Ministry room, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. During this time, we have prayer time, fun/fellowship time and Bible study time. We also have discussions about whatever the teens bring up that is important to them. It is important to note that whatever is discussed in the Youth Ministry, stays in the Youth Ministry.

2) Every Sunday morning, year round, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, we have our Youth Bible study, also in the 3rd floor Youth Ministry room.

3) After the Sunday morning Youth Bible study, we try to encourage the teens to stay for the 10:30 Sunday morning service, in the main sanctuary, and listen to the message given by Pastor Robert Hayes. Families are invited to stay for the service, as well.
